Sessions

 

During the festival weekend the bars in the Beaufort, Crown & Ship will be hosting acoustic jam sessions. These sessions will be hosted by experienced session performers. On arrival at any of the venues tell the host what you wish to perform and do your stuff when it is your turn*.

This year's Festival is likely to be extremely busy - to ensure a slot please send us an email with the following information:

  • Number of players
  • Style of music (e.g. Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk etc)
  • When you will be attending Sat, Sunday or both days .

Pay performers the same respect which you would wish them to pay you.

A session is not the place to practice, perform what you know.

Make sure your instrument is tuned and ready to go when you are called upon.

Raglan Music Festival is a not for profit community event open to visitors and performers of all ages and musical tastes. Now in its seventh year the Festival continues to grow in size, scope and quality featuring a wide range of musical styles from Rock to Blues, Jazz, Classical, Choral, Children's Workshops and Open Jam sessions.

The Festival's Charter aims to actively encourage the performance of live music in all its forms.
